The blue verification tick tells people an account is authentic and notable. You cannot buy it, but you can make your account a strong candidate. Here is how TikTok verification works.
What verification means
It confirms that an account genuinely belongs to the person, brand or business it represents — useful for trust and for protecting your name from impersonators.
What TikTok looks for
TikTok generally reviews accounts that are authentic (a real, active account), notable (represented in the media or widely recognised), and complete (a filled-out profile with a photo, bio and consistent posting).
How to improve your chances
Post consistently, grow genuine engagement, secure press or mentions where you can, and keep your profile complete and on-brand. Some eligible accounts can also request verification in their settings.
Do not pay for it
Anyone offering to sell you verification is a scam. Verification only ever comes directly from TikTok.
