Hiding like counts can take the pressure off and keep the focus on your content rather than the numbers. Instagram lets you hide them on your own posts or across your whole feed. Here is how.
Hide likes on a single post
Before you publish, tap Advanced settings and turn on “Hide like and view counts on this post.” You can also change it on an existing post from its three-dot menu.
Hide likes across your feed
Go to Settings, open the posts or content preferences section, and turn on hiding like counts so you no longer see them on other people’s posts.
You can still see your own numbers
Even with counts hidden publicly, you can view your own likes and insights any time, so you never lose track of how a post performed.
