An Instagram Shop lets customers browse and buy your products without leaving the app. Setting one up is straightforward once you know the steps. Here is how.
1. Check you are eligible
You need a business or creator account, a connected Facebook Page, and products that meet Instagram’s commerce policies in a supported market.
2. Connect a product catalogue
Create a catalogue in Meta Commerce Manager, or connect an existing store from a platform like Shopify so your products sync automatically.
3. Submit for review
Turn on shopping in your settings and submit your account. Review usually takes a few days.
4. Tag and sell
Once approved, tag products in your posts, Stories and Reels so each becomes a shoppable touchpoint that leads straight to checkout or your site.
